I'm going to preface this page by stating that the figures below should not be taken to be entirely accurate and should be used as a rough guide to HQ rates on Eden. As far as i am aware, a standard sample size of anything would be 10k tests and my testing only currently stands at around 2-3k, hence the disclaimer.
I plan on continuing to add more data as i gather it. Others are more than welcome to share their data as well.
I have seperated my testing into several sections. Section one contains any crafted item which only has 1 possible HQ outcome. Section two contains crafted items which have 2 possible HQ outcomes. Section three contains crafted items which have 3 possible HQ outcomes.
I have done this as i wanted to discover what the 'tiers of HQ' were. By tiers of HQ, i wanted to know how many of my HQ's would be HQ1, how many HQ2 and how many HQ3. I have then further broken this down into the already known levels above a synth that a HQ can occur (T0: 0-10, T1: 11-30, T2: 31-50, T3: 51+).

So this data tells me that if I was to craft an item such as an Antidote which has 3 tiers of HQ (Synthesis can yield 1, 2, 3 or 4 Antidotes), at an Alchemy skill of 31-50 levels above it's cap, I would have a 66.65% chance of yielding 1 antidote, a 21.54% chance of yielding 2 antidotes, a 5.31% chance of yielding 3 antidotes and a 2.02% chance of yielding 4 antidotes. From this I can work out that on average, for each synthesis attempted, I will receive 1.34 antidotes.
I would also have a 4.68% chance of failure. I have NOT tested rates of regular failure compared to critical failure.

So this data tells me that if I was to craft an item such as an Antidote which has 3 tiers of HQ (Synthesis can yield 1, 2, 3 or 4 Antidotes), at an Alchemy skill of 51+ levels above it's cap, I would have a 49.16% chance of yielding 1 antidote, a 33.47% chance of yielding 2 antidotes, a 9.36% chance of yielding 3 antidotes and a 3.30% chance of yielding 4 antidotes. From this I can work out that on average, for each synthesis attempted, I will receive 1.57 antidotes.
I would also have a 4.71% chance of failure. I have NOT tested rates of regular failure compared to critical failure.
