Ninja radar
Located in the lower left of the screen, the Compass/Radar will show the direction that you are traveling and other characters nearby as little blips or dots.
Using Ninja as your main or sub job causes the radar to expand both in size and range.

Arrows around the outside of the radar show the direction and name of NPCs (hostile and friendly) you are tracking by use of Wide Scan or enemies that have "Call for Help" tagged onto them.
