A Notorious Monster is considered to be a Timed Spawn when its appearance in the game is restricted to certain times in the game world, or the creature is limited to appearing a certain time after it was previously killed.
Some examples of timed spawn mobs:
- The Spook - Spawns every 20:00, 0:00 in King Ranperre's Tomb
- Shikigami Weapon - Respawns 21 earth hours after being killed in Ro'Maeve
- Fafnir/Nidhogg - Respawns 21-24 hours after being killed in Dragon's Aery
